1962 Feb. 13 Dawn is born in Great Lakes, IL.
1964-1966   Dawn lives in Hawaii.
1965 Dec. 6 Troy is born in Napa, CA.
1967-1969   Dawn lives in Indiana.
1969 Feb. 7 Dawn's mom, Mary, marries John & the family moves to Oklahoma.
Dec. 3 Lon is born in Louisville, KY.
1975 May 31 Dawn's dad run off road. He is brain damaged and eventually institutionalized.
1977-1978 July to June Dawn lives in Florida with Tammy for 10th grade.
1979   Lon's family moves to Denver, IA.
1980 Dawn graduates High School & goes to Univ. of Oklahoma.
1982   Dawn lives briefly in Arlington, TX.
1984 June Troy graduates High School.
Dawn moves to Oakland, CA to take job as Managing Editor of LOCUS Magazine.
1985 Aug. Dawn resigns from LOCUS.
1986 January Dawn's dad's body finally dies.
  June Dawn moves to Santa Cruz, CA and begins attends the University of Calif. of Santa Cruz.
  July Dawn and Troy meet.
  August Dawn and Troy start dating and Dawn helps her mother (Mary) and sister (Angela) move to Santa Cruz from Oklahoma.
1987 Jan. Dawn, Troy, Mary, Angela, & friend Ray move into one house together.
1988 June Lon graduates High School.
Dawn graduates UCSC with BA in Anthropology & Professional Writing.
Dawn & Troy are married in a redwood grove in Santa Cruz.
1989 Oct. 17 Loma Prieta Earthquake, 7.1 quake hits Santa Cruz. Robin Ortiz, friend of Dawn and Troy, is killed.
1990   Lon and Tina meet.
1994 July Dawn & Troy move to Iowa City, IA. Dawn is beginning graduate school in Anthropology, Troy undergrade in Geology.
  Aug. Dawn and Troy meet Lon and Tina.
  Oct. Four becomes "a relationship."
1995 Jan. Lon and Tina move in with Dawn and Troy.
  April 31 Lon and Tina marry. Dawn performs ceremony, Troy as best man.
1996 May Dawn receives Master's degree in Anthropology and is offered book contract for Looking Queer.
  May 20 Rowan is born. Rowan's Wiccaning is July 28.
1997 May Lon receives BA in Psychology from Univ. of Iowa.
June-Aug. Dawn does summer research project in San Francisco and Amsterdam.
  Oct. Tina moves out. Rowan continues to live at both homes.
1998 March Tina files to take custody of Rowan.
  May Troy receives BA in Geology from Univ. of Iowa. Lon and Troy accepted to graduate schools in California.
  May 31 Tina (with her brother and a friend) attempts to kidnap Rowan and assaults Dawn in the process.
  July Discrimitory judge gives Tina full custody of Rowan. Lon, Dawn & Troy must move to California without him. Rowan is only 2, Tina denies all visitation.
  Aug. Troy begins Masters program in Geology at San Francisco State Univ.
  Oct. Lon begins Masters program in Transpersonal Psychology at John F. Kennedy University.
  Dec. Court order allows Lon, Dawn & Troy to see Rowan for the 1st time in five months, but only for a few days in Iowa.
1999 Jan. Lon starts work at Ancient Ways.
  Sept.  Rowan finally allowed to visit with family in California. Formal settlement and Lon's divorce from Tina are in place by end of year.
2000   Dawn spends the year doing her dissertation research.
  June 17 Rabbit Warren Recommitment Ceremony.
  Troy quits college to work in computer industry.
2001 Nasty economic year. Troy laid off in March and gets new job in July. Dawn very ill most of the year and breaks her arm in Dec.
  Dec. Lon finishes coursework for MA in Psychology at JFK.
2002 March Dawn's mysteries illness is diagnosed as fibromyalgia.
  April-July Dawn's mom in the hospital in Florida. Dawn spends most of the time there.
  Aug. Lon & Dawn bring Mary back from Florida.
  Sept. Mary (Dawn's mom) and Alura (her niece) move into the Warren.
2003 March Alura moves back to Sacramento.
April 1 Troy is laid off from work.
  April 24 Dawn falls and breaks her leg, has surgery.
  Sept Rabbit Warren moves to San Leandro.
Troy starts online Master's Program.
2004 Jan Dawn begins writing her novel and work again on her academic writing.
Lon is doing counseling and working at Ancient Ways.
  Aug Troy gets MA in Information Technologies & new job.
2005 Aug Rabbit Warren moves to Hayward home.
