As if receiving my Masters degree and the book contract weren't exciting enough...

Chistina Fiscus and her partners -- Dawn Atkins, Lon Sarver, and Troy McKee -- are happy to announce the birth of Rowan Ashley Fiscus-McKee. The healthy baby boy was born this morning, May 20 at 6:35 AM. He weighs 5 lbs. 9.5 oz. and is 17 inches long. Although his due date wasn't until June 15, they tell us he is not premature and is perfectly health. Momma is doing fine. The labor was an amazingly short three hours -- and her first at that. Mom and baby will be staying at Mercy Hopital in Iowa City for a couple days before coming home to their new home.
